Your full-day tour starts with hotel pickup to begin a journey that blends Egypt’s most iconic ancient monuments with one of its most important new cultural landmarks. Travel to the Giza Plateau and explore the famous pyramids complex, starting with the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, celebrated as the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. Continue to the Pyramid of Chephren and then the Pyramid of Mycerinus, where traces of the original casing stones can still be seen.
Next, pause at the Great Sphinx of Giza, carved from natural bedrock with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, then visit the nearby Valley Temple, associated with King Chephren’s funerary complex.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Walk through its modern spaces and view outstanding ancient artifacts representing Egypt’s dynastic history, displayed in an impressive contemporary setting close to the pyramids. At the end of the visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
