Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – Temples and Ancient Quarries
Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be greeted by a representative and transferred in a private air-conditioned vehicle to board the Esmeralda Nile Cruise. After check-in, enjoy lunch on the deck as the calm waters of the Nile welcome you. In the afternoon, visit the High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that transformed Egypt’s landscape. Continue by motorboat to the island of Philae to explore the Temple of Isis, a sanctuary rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Conclude the day at the Unfinished Obelisk, an immense monument left incomplete in the granite quarries, offering insight into ancient craftsmanship.
