Explore Riyadh
After breakfast, begin your exploration at Masmak Fort, a historic fortress built in 1895 during the rule of Abdullah bin Rashid. Continue to Dirah Souq, a lively market known for its colorful fabrics, silks, and pashminas. Next, visit the National Museum of Saudi Arabia, a cultural landmark featuring eight galleries that trace the story of the Arabian Peninsula from its origins to the present day. Proceed to Murabba Palace, constructed by King Abdul Aziz in 1937 using traditional materials, and once home to the royal family. Enjoy an authentic Saudi lunch at Najd Village Restaurant before visiting Al-Rajhi Mosque, one of the city’s largest and most significant religious centers, equipped with multilingual interpretation systems. Have lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Diriyah, a UNESCO-listed heritage site and the birthplace of the first Saudi state. Wander through its restored mud-brick structures that once formed a powerful desert city.
