Madaba’s Mosaics, Mount Nebo Views & Dead Sea Relaxation

Following breakfast, start your day in Madaba, famous for its intricate mosaics, particularly the remarkable 6th-century map of the Holy Land at St. George’s Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, where tradition holds that Moses glimpsed the Promised Land, and enjoy breathtaking panoramas stretching across the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Jericho. Descend to the Dead Sea, the planet’s lowest point, to float effortlessly in buoyant, mineral-dense waters and try the therapeutic mud. Return to Amman as the day concludes.

After breakfast, set out northward to Jerash, one of the world’s most impressive Roman archaeological sites. Travel onward to Ajloun Castle, a formidable 12th-century stronghold with commanding hilltop views built to defend the land during Crusader times. Your journey then continues to Umm Qais, the ancient Gadara, where panoramic vistas reveal the Sea of Galilee and Golan Heights. Return to Amman in the evening.

After an early breakfast, journey south across dramatic desert landscapes to the legendary city of Petra. Wander through the Street of Facades, explore the Royal Tombs, and visit the Roman Theatre, all masterfully carved into rose-colored rock.
