Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – Embarkation & Aswan Sightseeing
Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be met and transferred to board the Steigenberger Omar El Khayam. After check-in and lunch, begin exploring Aswan’s highlights, including the High Dam, built to control the Nile’s floods, and the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Conclude with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, an immense monument left incomplete in its quarry. Return to the ship for dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 2: Visit Kalabsha Temple & Beit El Wali – Sail to Wadi El Seboua
After breakfast, visit Kalabsha Temple, relocated from its original site after the creation of Lake Nasser. This Roman-era temple honors the Nubian god Mandulis and features a blend of Egyptian and Roman artistry. Continue to Beit El Wali, a rock-cut temple built by Ramesses II. Return to the ship for lunch as it sails across the Tropic of Cancer toward Wadi El Seboua. Enjoy dinner and a peaceful evening on board.

Day 3: Explore Wadi El Seboua & Dakka – Sail to Amada

Day 4: Visit Amada – Kasr Ibrim – Sail to Abu Simbel

Return to the ship for lunch as it sails to Kasr Ibrim, where you can view the ancient citadel from the sundeck. Continue sailing to Abu Simbel. In the evening, you may attend the optional Sound & Light Show at Abu Simbel, a dazzling performance that brings the temple’s history to life.

Day 5: Visit Abu Simbel – Disembarkation
After breakfast, check out and visit the world-famous Abu Simbel Temples, relocated in the 1960s to prevent submersion by Lake Nasser. Marvel at the colossal statues of Ramesses II and his queen Nefertari, masterpieces of ancient Egyptian art. After the tour, transfer to Abu Simbel Airport or your hotel for departure.
