Day 1: Arrival in Luxor – Exploring the East Bank

Begin your journey with a warm welcome aboard the Steigenberger Minerva Nile Cruise. After settling into your cabin, enjoy lunch before visiting the East Bank of Luxor. Explore the vast Karnak Temple Complex, with its grand Hypostyle Hall and rows of ram-headed sphinxes, followed by a visit to Luxor Temple, connected to Karnak by the ancient Avenue of Sphinxes. Return to the ship for afternoon tea, dinner, and overnight in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank – Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut’s Temple | Sail to Esna

After breakfast, cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where generations of pharaohs were buried in richly decorated tombs. Optional entry to the tombs of Tutankhamun or Seti I is available. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture, and stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Return for lunch as the cruise sails through the Esna Lock toward Edfu.
