Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – Sightseeing – Embarkation
Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be greeted and transferred to board the Prince Abbas Lake Cruise. After check-in, enjoy lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit the High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built to control the Nile’s floods. Continue by motorboat to Agilika Island to explore the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and then visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an enormous monument left incomplete in the ancient granite quarries. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Visit Kalabsha Temple & Beit El Wali – Sail to Wadi El Seboua
After breakfast, visit Kalabsha Temple, relocated to avoid submersion after the High Dam’s construction. The temple, built during the late Ptolemaic and Roman periods, honors the Nubian deity Mandulis. Continue to Beit El Wali, a small rock-cut temple built by Ramesses II, notable for its colorful reliefs depicting military victories. Return to the cruise for lunch, then sail toward Wadi El Seboua, crossing the Tropic of Cancer. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3: Explore Wadi El Seboua & Dakka Temples – Sail to Amada

Visit the nearby Temple of Dakka, dedicated to Thoth, and the Temple of Maharraqa, known for its preserved spiral staircase. Return to the cruise for lunch as it sails to Amada. Day 4: Visit Amada – Kasr Ibrim – Sail to Abu Simbel
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Amada, the oldest monument in Nubia, dating back to Thutmose III. Admire its vivid wall paintings and inscriptions. Continue to the Temple of Derr, another rock-cut sanctuary built by Ramesses II, and the Tomb of Pennut, the Viceroy of Kush. Sail to Kasr Ibrim, the only ancient site in Nubia still in its original location, and view it from the sun deck as landing is not permitted. Continue sailing to Abu Simbel for dinner and overnight stay.
