Your journey begins in Esna, located about 33 miles south of Luxor. Upon arrival, board the Meroe Dahabiya and meet the friendly crew who will accompany you throughout the voyage. Esna is a lively trading town, home to the Temple of Khnum, which lies nine meters below the current street level. Enjoy a guided visit to this ancient site, followed by a leisurely walk through the colorful local markets filled with textiles and handmade goods. Spend your first evening moored peacefully along the Nile’s edge.

Day 2: El Kab & Edfu – Temples and Village Walks

Later, continue to Edfu to explore the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Travel there by horse-drawn carriage through the bustling streets.
